Historical integration instructions link PhoneGap Build plugin 505 with customization of the iOS status bar. WP-AppKit’s theme documentation uses that exact registry URL for this purpose.

The status-bar problem

Applications needed to control whether the status bar covered the web view, its appearance and whether it was visible. The PhoneGap Build team’s surviving StatusBar repository describes APIs for those operations, including StatusBar.overlaysWebView, StatusBar.hide, StatusBar.show and the StatusBar.isVisible property. It also documents the historical StatusBarOverlaysWebView configuration preference.

The old team repository also references a different registry ID in its metadata. The original metadata and exact version for entry 505 were not recovered, so this page does not assign it a package version or claim that a current plugin is identical.
